Lord of the Rings

Possibly the grandfather of all fantasy stories, now the subject matter for a trilogy of major blockbuster films and has been the source of inspiration for fan and commercial fiction for many years.
It tells the story of the war between the four races, Dwarves, Elves, Hobbits and Man against the evil power of Sauron.

Farewell Samwise

An Elvish mistake leads to a new threat to the Shire and a dangerous adventure for four Hobbits, a band of unwilling Dwarves and a pair of Elves sent to prevent the disaster from occurring.
